Crip gang members are looking to trademark Nipsey Hussle's slogan "Marathon Continues" to uplift the community.
The slogan would be used for community-based programs throughout the community whether it be for youth sports, community organizing, or gang prevention and intervention.
According to Yahoo, the application for the trademark was filed by Crips LLC:
"According to documents obtained by The Blast, the Crips moved to register “The Marathon Continues,” to be used in a mixture of services, including “Arranging and conducting youth sports programs.”
The application was actually filed by the Crips holding company, Crips LLC, on May 16."
