Kylie Jenner Defends Her "Self-Made Billionaire" Title

Do you remember when Forbes named Kylie Jenner the "youngest self-made billionaire ever," and wrote:

"At 21,@kyliejenneris the youngest self-made billionaire ever. Even younger than Mark Zuckerberg, who was 23 when he reached a ten-figure fortune. To be clear, since 2014 Forbes has defined “self-made” as someone who built a company or established a fortune on their own, rather than inheriting some or all of it. As long as the list member didn’t inherit a business or money, they are labeled self-made. Read more about Jenner’s milestone at the link in our bio.#ForbesBillionaires(📸:@jameltoppinphoto)"

A lot of people were not happy with her "self-made" title, they felt she WASN'T self-made:

Kylie defended herself in a recent interview that "there's really no other word to use other than self-made."

She did acknowledged that she is a "special case" because she had a huge following before her beauty empire along with a privileged position. She said: "I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15. I used 100% of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited."
