Before XXXtentacion passed away, he had a lot of court cases from multiple criminal charges ranging from robbery to aggravated battery of his ex girlfriend, Geneva Ayala. He maintained his innocence till his death, but a newly released audio tape has him confessing to the abuse. Pitchfork, got the tape from the Miami-Dade County state attorney's office, and in it his ex-girlfriend's claims are confirmed. In the 27 minute tape you can hear XXXtentacion saying, "I started f**king her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she's scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand." X also confessed to several stabbings from 2016 in Florida on the tape, and says that when he came back his ex thought he was going to kill her too. Two months after his death, the abuse case was dropped. Does this tape make you feel differently about XXXtentacion? Do you think that the release of the tape will open the domestic abuse case back up?
