Last month, Makonnen shared a piece of audio from X's recording session and in the post you hear X express how he regretted never meeting Peep. On his Instagram post Makonnen also wrote, “Peep and I always believed that music heals and brings people together in a way nothing else can,” adding, “When I heard X’s recording, talking about my dear friend Peep, I could not wait any longer to share this.”
This is such a smooth song, I love it.
