Before you start with the hate, let's just be clear that Trippie Redd has always shown his appreciation and love for J. Cole. He grew up listening to J. Cole and he's said in interviews before that J. Cole is one of the GOATs. Which is definitely a FACT.
In that same interview he went on to say, "He's hard, regardless of what you think. He is a rapper. He gives you nothing but bars and lyrical play, which is amazing. His lyrical play is distinct. He'll say some real shit and he'll play around with it and give you the real shit the whole time."
Me being one of the biggest J. Cole fans, I have so much more respect for Trippie Redd for that.
J. Cole has also shown respect to Trippie Redd by commenting on his picture with one of his song lyrics. (I would totally freak out if I was him.)
