Ed Sheeran Being Sued Over "Thinking Out Loud" Copyrights

Yikes! Things aren't looking so good for Ed Sheeran, the singer-songwriter is being hit with a massive lawsuit.

According to TMZ, a company called Structured Asset Sales is seeking $100 million in damages claiming the 27-year-old ripped off Marvin Gaye's “Let’s Get it On" with his 2016 hit “Thinking Out Loud”.

The suit goes on to say that Sheeran’s song has the same melody, rhythms, harmonies, drums, bassline, backing chorus, tempo, syncopation, and looping as “Let’s Get it On.”

Of course, we want you to be the judge. Take a listen to "Let's Get It On" and "Thinking Out Loud" and let us know in the comments below.
