We have heard it before, but I'll say it again...you do the crime, you do the time.
But does that count for Hip Hop, especially when you should be able to rap about whatever you want? Listeners at times choose to listen to an artist just because of their words.
It's hurtful to their art to take away their freedom of speech or expression.
That's what happened with Valtonyc, a rapper from Spain. It's happened with YG before too, and it's clear that if someone isn't happy about your bars, they'll try to get you locked up for it.
