Kanye West Is Catching a Major Court Case!

Wouldn't it be crazy to get a piece of clothing that had the "Yeezy" brand name on it and it wasn't associated with the Chi-town rapper? That's just what may happen now that a Chinese company is fighting for the right to use Kanye's nickname. Kanye's company has had the Yeezy name for shoes since 2013, but abandoned the trademark for clothes in 2017. A Chinese company, Fujian Baby Network Technology Co., swooped in and filed trademark paperwork for the term "Yeezy Boost" to put on their clothing. Kanye's company tried to come back and right the wrong by refiling the application for the name, but it was too late cause the Chinese company had it now. The good news is that Kanye still has the name for his Yeezy shoes, but if he wants to make t-shirts, hats, or something like that he may have to strap on his court battle Yeezys and go to court.

Do you think Kanye will be able to get his nickname back to use on clothing?

How do you feel about the Chinese company's business move?
