Tyler Perry Recalls His Bidding War With Blue Ivy At A Charity Gala

All Tyler Perry wanted to do was purchase a portrait that he liked, but a pint-sized portrait lover named Blue Ivy stood in his way during the second annual Wearable Art Gala.

"I was really excited to be there and there was this art coming out for auction, a beautiful Sidney Poitier painting and I'm like, 'I've got to have that.'" Perry remembered and explained all of this while on Jimmy Kimmel.

Tyler recalled putting up his paddle to get the portrait he loved and saw that in the other aisle Blue Ivy was doing the same paddle raising he was doing.

After reaching $19,000 Jay-Z stepped in and stopped Blue from bidding and Tyler got the painting that he loved so much for $20,000.
