At last night’s annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view, WWE made history with its first ever women’s Royal Rumble match. With the return of legends Lita, Trish Stratus, Beth Phoenix and many others, the current lineup would be in for a big surprise at the match’s conclusion. Ronda Rousey would make her official WWE debut.
Her “Rowdy” Roddy Piper-inspired entrance was just the beginning as the former UFC champion stood in the ring and pointed to the venue’s Wrestlemania sign as an indication that she officially signed to team WWE. Although the fighter did not make her actual fighting debut she did hint that she is "doing this full time" and signed a multi-year deal.
