Make sure you have 20/20 vision once 2020 comes along, because, well...you may look up and see flying taxis.
This is to make sure you're not going crazy, because this is a project Uber has been working on called uberAIR for sunny Los Angeles. Portugal had a look into this work in progress, and it looks like a combination of a helicopter and a small plane.
As a fellow LA native, can we all say this together?
Traffic sucks out here. So imagine soaring over all that traffic, and actually not having to complain about it? It sounds like a dream come true, to be honest.
Let me put it this way:
a drive to LAX to Staples Center will take 27 minutes compared to 80 minutes.
AMENNNNNN!!
Of course, there's all the technical details being worked out, blah blah blah, but c'mon, it's still an invention that's being worked on and I'll be in my car, in traffic, crossing my fingers until then.
