Scotland dog mom Louise Sutherland was incredibly surprised when her Golden Retriever Rio gave birth to a green puppy... YES, a GREEN puppy.
Apparently this has happened three times before. Vets think the green fur is caused by an exposure to biliverdin—a green bile pigment found in the placenta, according to Time magazine in 2014.
Sutherland named the little guy Forest.
