As the long-awaited 2Pac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me is to drop this Friday (June 16), Demetrius Shipp Jr., who stars as the West Coast legend in the film, made his talk show debut on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night.
Shipp talked his journey from retail employee to his big-screen debut with the talk show host, saying, "It kinda just came. My best friend, who's here with me in the backstage, he's like 'Dude, you gotta do this audition, the casting call for 2Pac, you gotta do that.' I was just working, just regular jobs, trying to make a living. I always wanted to be a music producer, so, you know, working on that and then just doing my regular job, paying the bills."
