A giant bunny named Simon died in the cargo section of a United Airlines flight, and his owner Annette Edwards claims that he was perfectly healthy upon boarding.
Edwards, a giant bunny breeder, is devastated upon hearing her 10-month-old, 50-pound rabbit passed away mid-flight, according to The Sun. Simon was supposed to grow up to become the world's biggest rabbit.
“Simon had a vet’s check-up three hours before the flight and was fit as a fiddle,” she said. “Something very strange has happened and I want to know what. I’ve sent rabbits all around the world and nothing like this has happened before.”
