Nike has developed a hijab made specifically for Muslim athletes, something that has been missing from athletic apparel until now.
The Nike Pro Hijab came after Emirati weightlifter Amna Al Haddad mentioned the lack of appropropriate sport hijabs when visiting Nike's headquarters. The prototype was then developed to fit that need and is already being worn by pro figure skater Zahra Lari of the United Arab Emirate.
