The Los Angeles Unified School District will drop outdoor COVID-19 mask mandates for students and staff.
Superintendent Alberto Carvalho confirmed the news via an announcement on Friday. The new rules state that "outdoor masking will be optional for all individuals in Los Angeles Unified schools effective February 22, 2022."
