People Plan To Protest Restaurant Coming to Downey because It's "Too Racy"

There is a new restaurant that is trying to open in Downy, it's a Texas-chain restaurant called Ojos Locos. Part of their gimmick is the girls wear basically tiny bikinis.

Downey resident Angelica Hernandez is leading the way to protest the opening of the restaurant.

"We have to protect our children," Hernandez said. "The high school is just a block away. Our senior citizens' condominiums and retirement homes are just over the train tracks, so right on their back door."

The location of the restaurant is also near Downey High School.

Apparently residents will be asked to sign a petition before the City Council meeting to keep the restaurant from opening there.
