How would you feel if a restaurant weighed you upon entry and suggested your order based on your measurements?

Some people love the idea, and some hate it. But a restaurant in China apologized for their new policy after a national campaign against food waste was launched last week.

The restaurant put two large scales inside and asked customers to weight themselves as they entered.

Once they weigh themselves, they put their measurements into an app, and the app then suggests what you should order.

A video of the new policy was posted on social media, and people were upset. They felt it was "embarrassing" and "rude."

The restaurant responded apologized, explaining, "Our original intentions were to advocate stopping waste and ordering food in a healthy way. We never forced customers to weigh themselves."
