This New Crosswalk Signal Will Make LA Streets Safer For Pedestrians

The streets are getting a bit safer in LA.

I didn't know this but according to city data, over 850 people have been killed while walking around our Los Angeles streets from 2010 though 2018.

According to a study by the Federal Highway Administration found that the beacons will reduce vehicle vs. pedestrian crashes by 69% and the overall traffic crashes by 29%!

A HAWK beacon has also been placed on 6th St. near Spaulding Ave. by the Grove and more will be installed throughout the city and officials expect to eliminate all traffic deaths in L.A. by 2025!
