Big Boy's Neighborhood Heads To Wyoming For Kanye's 'Ye' Listening Party

It was a big night in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Kanye West flew celebrities, music industry insiders and influencers of all kinds out to Wyoming for his Ye listening party.

Last night, was the first time we've heard new music from Kanye since 2016's The Life Of Pablo. Ye is his most personal album yet as he addresses his own mental health, the love for his wife Kim Kardashian, his children and more.

Big Boy's Neighborhood joined the celebration in Wyoming. They got the first taste of Yeezy's new music and got to hang out with some very familiar faces!

Big Boy and REAL 92.3 Program Director Doc Wynter caught up with the man of the night - Kanye West. You can tell by the smile on Yeezy's face that this night was big for the rapper. He's been spending a lot of his time in the last few months in Wyoming working on music for himself, Nas, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor and Kid Cudi.

Chris Rock kicked things off by giving a hip hop sermon of sorts. He shouted to an eager crowd, "Remember this... rap music, hip hop music is the first art form created by free black men." He praised Kanye for using that freedom to its fullest and threw it to the first track on the album, "I Though About Killing You."

Legendary moment right here. Big Boy and Ayyde caught up with Nas and Kid Cudi. According to our girl Ayyde, that Nas album that Kanye tweeted about is really on the way. Yeezy confirmed in April that he produced the entire album and would be releasing it on June 15th.

Big Boy got the chance to talk with Jonah Hill and Kid Cudi about how crazy it was that so many people flew to the middle of nowhere to show support for Kanye. Big Boy recalls getting off the plane and running into a local who was shocked that he has just met Nas and Kid Cudi.

Mrs. West herself was there to support her husband on his big night. Big Boy caught up with Kim who was wearing a piece from the official Ye merch collection. the Wyoming themed t-shirts and hoodies are available online now. This particular shirt that Kim wore last night is actually name after her.

Back home in LA, Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed were holding it down in the studio giving listeners the first taste of Ye. As soon as the listening party wrapped up in Wyoming, we started playing tracks from the album.
