Simone Biles is giving fans insight as to why she's removed herself from competition.
She revealed that she's deal with "The twisties." This means when she is twisting in the air, she's losing track of where she is. This could cause her to land wrong or get severely injured.
She went on Instagram to answer questions about the condition. At one point, she said, "For anyone saying I quit: I didn't quit, my mind & body are simply not in sync as you can see here.”
She also said, "I don't think you realize how dangerous this is on hard/competition surface, nor do I have to explain why I put health first."
Simone also thanked her fans for supporting her.
