Scottie Pippen is dealing with something no father should ever have to endure - the death of his firstborn son.
The NBA legend shared the tragic news on social media that his son Antron had died at the age of 33.
Pippen said Antron suffered from chronic asthma that kept him from having an NBA career of his own.
He wrote: "He never let that get him down, though—Antron stayed positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man that he became."
Pippen's second-oldest son, Scotty Pippen Jr., is heading for the NBA next season after declaring for the draft last week.
