HBO is the latest company to green light a movie about the GameStop stock saga. A documentary is already in the works at Netflix, but HBO's version will be scripted.The project will be done by executive producers Andrew Ross Sorkin, Len Amato, and Jason Blum.
According to Variety- The film is being described as “how a populist uprising of social media day traders beat Wall Street at their own game.”
In addition, MGM has picked up the rights to Ben Mezrich’s book.
