Ashanti has announced that her and her family are "Covid free" in a New Year's Day post.
The artist said "Feeling grateful. My parents and I got our negative results back right in time to start off the New Year healthy, happy & loved. Wishing y'all all an amazing 202WON."
Ashanti said that she got the virus from a family member that didn't know they had the virus until they were tested.
The "Verzuz" battle with Keyshia Cole was canceled due to her being positive for COVID, but now that she is negative, the battle will take place on January 9th.
