Hollywood Man Helps Community With Free Tacos During Pandemic

It's so heartwarming to see people with amazing hearts like Heleo Leyva.

We're going through some hard times; a growing number of Americans are going hungry.

National Geographic reports as many as one in six Americans could go hungry in 2020 - due in large part to the coronavirus pandemic.

While food insecurity is more pronounced in some areas, it is worsening across the board.

Food banks have been helping, and so have community beautiful members.

For the past 4 months, Leyva and his team have been preparing and delivering meals to about 200 people who live in the community.

Speaking to NBC4, he said, "There is a lot of need, especially in our Latino community, there are many people who obviously work in restaurants and right now they don't have a job, and we try to give them a little bit."

You can find him setting up on Santa Monica Blvd right by Los Angeles City College (approximately 4621 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90029.)

Thank you, Leyva, and to everyone who has contributed in any way.
