Popeye's looking to gain the same momentum of its famous chicken sandwich for something a little sweeter!
They have debuted chocolate-filled beignets to their menu! While still in just select areas, the dessert will be heading to a nationwide scale "eventually."
The beignet is a nod to Popeye's New Orleans roots, with the brand saying, "As a brand from New Orleans, we are always looking to bring new dishes."
The filled, fried dough treat will reportedly come in three, six, and 12-piece options and is expected to hit nationwide restaurants shortly.
