It looks like the divorce between rapper Dr. Dre and his wife Nicole Young is about to get nasty. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Nichole was pressured to sign a prenup back in 1996.
However, after 2 years of marriage, Nicole says that Dr. Dre had a change of heart. She says,Andre acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me. Since the day he tore up the agreements, we both understood that there was no premarital agreement and that it was null and void.
Meanwhile, sources close to Dre say he didn’t feel bad about a prenup, he didn’t tear up a prenup and he never forced her to sign a prenup.
No word yet from Dre on these accusations. Dre has made it clear that he will take care of Nicole via all of her expenses as well as spousal support.
However, it seems that Nichole wants a bigger slice of the $1 billion pie. She also wants the judge to treat the divorce and prenup separately.
