Shoppers at a Smart & Final in Watts were surprised with a very generous act of kindness by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Everyone in the store had their grocery bill picked up by the boys in blue. Covid-19 has made it extremely tough for many. The recipients were very thankful for the unexpected surprise.
One shopper said, "I got five kids so this is a blessing. I really appreciate it, especially right now,".
Salute Smart & Final, they also partnered with the team to surprise customers with gift cards to help get them through these difficult times.
It's not the first time the dodgers and smart and final get together for a good cause.
