Post Malone is giving back in a major way during the Covid-19 Pandemic and we are here for it.
Posty is going to host a livestream concert tribute to Nirvana on Friday April 24th at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.
Malone has said in interviews that he is a HUGE Nirvana fan, he's even showed his love to the band in the past by covering "All Apologies” live. He's also payed homage with a tattoo on his forehead of the NIRVANA song "STAY AWAY".
As reported by nypost.com, the show will broadcast live from Malone’s home and air on his official YouTube channel. A press release says he’ll “perform a set of Nirvana hits and fan favorites.” For more info, fans can text 817-270-6440, which is a number Post Malone offered up on his social media pages earlier this week alongside the note, “text me.”
During his livestream Friday, Malone will raise money for the United Nations Foundation’sCOVID-19Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. Throughout the show, Google will match all donations at up to $5 million, with all proceeds going to the UN Foundation.
Courtney Love who was married to Nirvana lead singer, Kurt Cobain gave thanks to Post Malone & everyone else involved in making this happen.
