A judge has cleared the criminal record of a 21-year-old Florida man who spent 10 days in jail for missing jury duty.
Deandre Somerville was sentenced to jail time and one year probation after oversleeping and missing his jury assignment.
His story caught fire on social media last week, earning the attention of people like Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
On Saturday, the judge vacated the charge and lifted Somerville's probation, calling him "a thoughtful and respectful young man".
