Billie Eilish Talks Coachella, YG, Being Injury Prone & More

Seventeen-year-old global phenomena, Billie Eilish joins us on The Cruz Show to speak about her rise to fame as well as her personal experiences with her own bodily health and various other artists. The stylish musician opens up candidly about her fans' support as well as being scrutinized by the general public. Billie tells J Cruz that criticism "doesn't matter unless you feel it" and this defense mechanism is a valuable note for all emerging artists as Billie Eilish, herself, has been publicly transparent about her psychological struggles that inevitably come with being in the spotlight, especially as a teenager.

The Los Angeles native, specifically raised in the notorious Highland Park area, recognizes her growth from being a home-schooled student to recently transformed into a musical household name. Billie Eilish goes over her highly-anticipated Coachella performance which she describes as "crazy" as it was her "first time going" and her emotional response to her first Indio music festival experience is extremely justified. The singer/songwriter elaborates on her attendance at YG's Coachella performance and respectively calls out to YG as being an artist who is "not afraid to do anything."

Leading to a more serious discussion, Billie Eilish lists the numerous amount of body disorders she suffers from which includes "tourettes" and "tendinitis." J Cruz opens up about his struggles with "stuttering" and then he throws the introspective question, "what are you hurting from?" to Billie. She shares her personal experiences with the various injuries she has had in the past and shows to the audience that she is a resilient force that can endure any type of pain and will still remain victorious.

The Interscope Records represented artist's newest album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" was released on March 29th and continues to hold a high-tier spot as a very successful project which was produced by her brother, Finneas O'Connell. 2019 is Billie Eilish's most reputable year-to-date and she remains as a force to be reckoned with, in spite of her many health issues and adolescence.
