On Thursday, in Van Nuys, California, firefighters responded to a medical emergency involving probable edible cannabis overdoses.
Around 10:30 a.m., the Van Nuys Middleย School called toย reportย suspected overdoses, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The patients, who range in age from 12 to 14, only have mild to moderate symptoms. Six or more of the students were sent to a hospital.
"This is not any sort ofย fentanyl-affiliatedย overdose.ย We want to make sure everybody know that" Erik Scott, the LAFD's public information officer, stated.
