There will soon be some relief for all the Californians who are paying exorbitant prices for housing, petrol, food, and other necessities.

More than 20 million California citizens  will receive "inflation relief" payments later this year, known as the Middle Class Tax Refund, Legislators announced. The payments will be between $200 to $1,050. Your income, filing status, and the number of dependents you have will all affect the size of your check.

Choose your filing status from the list below—individual, joint, head of household, or surviving spouse—to learn how much you can anticipate in your inflation relief check.

Check the table below for the row that has your income and the column that corresponds to your filing status for dependents. Dependent tax payers are entitled to a greater payment.
