The Nets are paying a massive tribute this season to one of Brooklyn's hometown sons. They're updating the court, their uniforms, and even their shoes to honor the late Notorious B.I.G.
Players will sport City Edition uniforms with designs that are inspired by the rapper's Coogi sweaters. At games where the jerseys are worn, the court will also get a refresh.
Photos have leaked of the Nets' collaboration with Nike, who will put out a special, ultra-exclusive Air Jordan 1. Some of the details for the black leather kicks include the words "B.I.G" and "1972" on the heel tabs.
