According to legal documents that were obtained by TMZ, Terry Williams helped Missy Elliott write and produce a song called, "Heartbroken."
The track was later released by Aaliyah in 1996, on her "One In A Million" album, that sold 8 million copies worldwide. However, Terry says Missy sold the song without his permission and he was never compensated.
According to the lawsuit, the version Timbaland and Aaliyah released was identical to his. The lawsuit states he has ownership in Aaliyah's song and is entitled to a share of the profits and is suing Missy, Timbaland and Aaliyah's estate.
