Walter Carr, a college student, was all set to begin a new job with Bellhops moving company when his car broke down the night before.
Instead of calling off he got up in the middle of the night and walked 20 miles to get to work on time. He also ended up being the first to arrive.
His story began making it's rounds on Facebook, and the CEO of the company traveled to Alabama and handed Carr the keys to a 2014 Ford Escape, which was the CEO's personal car.
Carr moved to Alabama after losing his home in Hurricane Katrina, says he hopes his story inspires others.
