Tyson has recalled over 3,000 pounds of frozen chicken after small pieces of soft blue and clear plastic was found by the company’s breading supplier.
The recall includes 12-pound boxes featuring three-pound bags of "Uncooked, Breaded, Original Chicken Tenderloins" with a Lot code of 1378NLR02 and the establishment number P-746 on the package.
No illnesses or reactions have been reported and the chicken isn’t available in grocery stores, but was sold to food establishments nationwide, The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has urged establishments to throw the chicken away!
