J. Cole’s childhood home in North Carolina was vandalized over the weekend, spray painted on the front of the home was, “J.Cole...Do you even care about the ville?” Authorities don’t know when the vandalism took place or by who but it has since been painted over.

One Twitter user came to Cole’s defense saying that the home is used for people to stay rent-free. The home that was pictured on the front of his album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, has served as a relief for single moms to have a place to create stability for their children and live rent-free!

“So every two years, a new family will come in and live rent-free. The idea is that it's a single mother with multiple kids. I want her kids to feel how I felt when we got the house.” Cole told Combat Jack in 2105. Cole has yet to respond to the vandalism of his home.
