A sign that was swept away from a waterfront home in New Jersey during Hurricane Sandy washed up on a French beach. The sign traveled for five years and 4,000 miles!
Diane Turton Realtors received a call from a French man on May 18th about the sign, he said that the sign washed up on the beach in Bordeaux. "We thought it was a joke at first,” said Perry Beneduce, marketing director at Diane Turton, Realtors.
Beneduce says that the design of the sign had been changed right after Sandy.
“Having our signage wash up in France on the beach, truly proves that Diane Turton, Realtors is a global real estate company,” Beneduce said.
