A Los Angeles judge has ruled that coffee sold in California must carry cancer warnings!
The Superior Court judge said Starbucks and other roasters and retailers failed to show the benefits from drinking coffee outweighing any risks from a carcinogen that is a byproduct of the roasting process.
A nonprofit group has sued 90 coffee companies under a state law that requires warnings on products where chemicals that can cause cancer are present.
