Clayton Kershaw was also marvelous in the division clinching game against the Arizona Diamondbacks as he went Clayton Kershaw's night: 7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 Ks on only 82 pitches.

Tuesday was the Dodgers’ 141st game of a 162-game season. Their earliest clinch date in franchise history was September 8, 1955, in Game No. 138 of a 154-game season. What's next for the Dodgers before the postseason starts? To claim are a first-round bye, and home field advantage through the National League playoffs and potentially the World Series. The division winners with the best two records in each league get the top two seeds in the NL, and an automatic berth in the Division Series which the Dodgers will aim for.
