Virtual Reality Day Spa's Are the New Trend

If you've been aching to hide away on your own private island or Japanese garden then you can skip the hassle of air travel and just head down to Wilshire Blvd. Esqapes Immersive Relaxation to be exact. The new location is the first of its kind and caters to those angelenos caught up in the hustle and bustle of life.

Users enter a room where there is a sole massage chair surrounded by a couple of heat lamps, fans, and aromatherapy diffusers. Sitting in the chair alone can make for quite the relaxing experience as even your feet will be massaged. After aligning with your eyesight, the VR experience takes about a minute to load up. Once the system is ready to go - its smooth sailing from there.

KFI News spoke with Michah Jackson, owner and curator, who stated that all experiences will be under $50. They are located in an office building to be easily accessible to workers on their lunch break who need to unwind for the day, especially before a meeting.

If you're looking for your own VR relaxing experience check them out at 5757 Wilshire Blvd (SAG - Aftra Building) Suite M11, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
