Trader Joe's is coming in hot!

The chain of grocery stores will no longer require masks for fully vaccinated shoppers. According to the company's site, they made changes to its COVID-19 resources page by announcing they would not be requiring the masks.

"We encourage customers to follow the guidance of health officials, including, as appropriate, CDC guidelines that advise customers who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks while shopping," said Trader Joe's on its website.

Trader Joe's did elaborate and said will continue to take safety precautions like conducting employee wellness checks, using clear glass barriers, and cleaning its stores and high-touch surfaces frequently.

This makes Trader Joe's the first store to drop the mask mandate for its vaccinated customers.
