Well, someone messed up here big time.
According to New York Times, nearly 15 million Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccines were thrown away after ingredient mix-up.
Apparently a dosage mix-up at a Baltimore production facility, ruined about millions of doses, which were prompted the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to delay shipments of the vaccine.
Employees at Emergent BioSolutions, a production facility in Baltimore, reportedly mixed-up two vaccine dosages. Shipments of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine have been delayed pending an investigation by the FDA.
