We're sending our condolences to Pharrell Williams, whose cousin was shot and killed by police in Virginia Beach.

25-year-old, Donovon Lynch was identified as one of the two people killed in three separate shootings in Virginia on Friday, March 26.

Today, the artist shared the news on social media by calling his Donovon "a bright light who always showed up for others."

Pharrell wrote: "The loss of these lives is a tragedy beyond measure. My cousin Donovon was killed during the shootings. He was a bright light and someone who always showed up for others. It is critical my family and the other victims’ families get the transparency, honesty and justice they deserve. Virginia Beach is the epitome of hope and tenacity and, as a community, we will get through this and come out even stronger."

The Virginia Beach Police Department released information about the shooting on Twitter as they revealed Donovan was one of two victims and then second Victim was Bad Girls Club alum, Deshayla Harris.

Rest in peace, Donovan and Deshayla!
