After the life of Nicki Minaj's father was tragically taken away in a hit-and-run accident, Nicki’s mother, Carol Minaj is taking legal action.
According to Page Six, Carol Maraj has officially filed a $150 million lawsuit against Charles Polevich, the man who struck and killed Nicki father, Robert Maraj in February.
Carol‘s lawyer said in a statement that “[Polevich] was not only irresponsible and negligent, but more concerned about running away and hiding than seeking help. Polevich’s behavior was criminal, cowardly, and immoral. We will hold him responsible for his reckless actions that led to Robert Maraj’s death!”
Authorities said last month that Polevich knew what he did.
“He got out of the car, looked at the deceased, got into his car and made the conscious decision to leave instead of dialing 911 and calling an ambulance for the man. He went home and secreted his vehicle,” Nassau County Detective Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick said at a press conference.
We continue to send out love to Nicki Minaj and her family.
