We're celebrating International Women’s Day and in honor of today, we're giving the lead mic to some of Hip-Hop strongest ladies.
Tonight starting at 7pm, DaniLeigh is taking over Home Grown Radio to talk about a slew of topics one of which included the colorism controversy caused by her “Yellow Bone” song.
"It's all about growing. Definitely realizing and taking accountability," the "MOVIE" singer-rapper said. "It definitely was taken wrong and everyone thought I was coming for one person. If you listen to a lot of my songs [Monique] and a lot of that, I really just have this bad b*tch attitude. But I'm not even like that in person and I just want my girls to feel confident. That's my main goal." She added, "I apologize and it's a learning lesson."
Other things Chuck Dizzle, DJ Hed and Miami native talked about was the women who inspire her, jumping out of moving vehicles and what’s she hopes to accomplish before 2021 ends.
Check out our exclusive interview with DaniLeigh below and of course, be sure to tune in tonight on REAL 92.3 LA.
