A 9-year-old Redondo Beach girl cried for joy when her mother told her she would finally be returning to school.
In a video, the mother of Clara held up several signs hinting the surprise of going back to school. One-by-one, the fourth grader read each sign until the final sign, which read "you are going back to school."
Clara immediately bursts into tears and embraces her mother with a hug, saying "really? I haven't gone to school in such a long time."
