Dog Helps Find 44 Pounds of Corn Flakes Covered in Cocaine Instead of Sugar

Goodwood Revival 2012

Drug traffickers are coming up with very unique ways to continue shipping their drugs.

According to a press release from U.S. Border Patrol, one of their dogs seized a shipment of cereal arriving from South America that contained 44 pounds of cocaine, disguising it with corn flakes that were covered in the substance instead of sugar.

Cincinnati Port Director Richard Gillespie told Fox 8 that "smugglers will try to hide narcotics in anything imaginable but vowed that inspectors will “use their training, intuition, and strategic skills” to stop such shipments."
