Can you imagine going to DMV for a REAL ID and realizing your photo ID is slightly different?
Well, a woman in Sacramento by the name of Lesly Pilgrim was shocked when she received her new Real ID driver's license and saw that her photo showed her wearing a face mask.
According to ABC 7, Lesly Pilgrim said "I knew the picture was not going to be good because license pictures are never good. But I did not expect the picture to be with my mask on."
She recalled not wanting to risk taking off her mask without explicit instructions for fear she'd be sent to the back of the line.
So a spokesperson from DMV said that while Lesly Pilgrim's Real ID is technically valid, DMV will issue her a new one showing a photo without her mask.
